The Beginning

I began writing the Forgotten Flowers Trilogy in 2016. I had no idea at the time how personal the process would become for me. Oscar Wilde is credited with the following quote: “Life imitates Art far more than Art imitates Life.” I had no idea how true those words were. The Forgotten Flowers Trilogy follows two generations of families dealing with loved ones suffering from dementia. It is a burdensome responsibility for the family caregiver to watch a lifetime of memories fade before their very eyes while dealing with life’s twists and turns.
